Did you know that 67% of weddings have a Flower Girl.

Many brides have difficultly choosing, just one flower girl. So why not have a pack of flower girls. 2 or 3 flower girls can be lovely. I’ve seen some brides choose as many as 12 flower girls.



Remember your theme and your flower girl’s age when you dress your flower girl. While you may look stunning with a 15 foot train, many 5 year old girls don’t have the grace, yet, to have much of any train. Dressing flower girls as fairies is a hot trend right now, but keep in mind that very young flower girls may play with their own wings or wand during the wedding. If your flower girl is under the age of 4 consider getting her a knee length dress. This will allow for more freedom of movement , and will help prevent her from tripping on her dress.



When is doubt, ask the flower girl’s mother. She will be paying for the dress, and she knows how her daughter handles different types clothes. Does she hate tight clothes? Will she keep shoes on? Make sure there are no small bows or beads that very young flower girls could swallow. Nothing ruins a wedding day faster, than a trip to the ER because you had to have a flower girl dress with small removable bows.
