Did you know the average number of bridesmaids is 4 (including the maid of honor)


If you are having a very small wedding, feel free to have only one or two bridesmaids. On the opposite side of that, if you are having a huge wedding, you can get away with a lot of bridesmaids. One wedding I went to had 14 bridesmaids and 14 groomsmen, this was a huge wedding in a large church so there was lots of space for that many.


This is just my personal opinion, but I would make sure you have the same number of attendants on the brides and the grooms side. This is not written in stone, but I personally think it looks better than if you too have different numbers.
