Make Your Own Veil?

Bridezilla

Written By: Bridezilla

A little bit of do-it-yourself can add a personal touch to your wedding. But are you brave enough to make your own veil?

You could go buy a bolt of raw tulle, I guess, but you can also buy a basic pre-gathered and stitched veil, ready to attack to the headpiece. You can get out the glue gun and go to town. Or you can take it to your florist and get her ideas for some dried flowers that she (or you) could attach. Or, maybe mom’s or grandma’ headpiece is in storage somewhere. The comb is probably still usable, but the mesh is probably yellowed and will need to be replaced. It could be a real sentimental touch, as well as being both “old” and “borrowed.”

DIY veil…good luck!

don’t know…sounds memorable and all, but I have enough to worry about. but having one made vs. bought might be a good idea. who might do that in the beaufort area?
