Armenian Wedding Traditions

Armenian brides were a headpiece made of cardboard that is shaped into wings and covered with feathers. After the wedding the bride and groom enter the reception under an arch of flowers held by the bridal party. A pair of doves are released to symbolize love and happiness. At the reception, the wedding guest throw coins at the bride and groom.
